Definitely don’t use the old filter, because after that much time you don’t know if mold may be in it or some anaerobic bacteria or something. I suggest to just order a new one and put that in. You should be good to go.

Go to this link http://www.alkalinewaterplus.com/product/KYK-G2 and below the ordering bar there are a couple of videos that show you all about how to use and program the Ionquench [which is the same as the KYK-G2 in every way. The only thing different is the filters have different computer chips in them and so make sure to get only Ionquench filters.

Hi,My husband and I just purchased an ionquench just like the one in your install photo from ebay.A friend of ours that has a K angen machine and has fancy testers told us our 9.5 water is really 6.5.We dont know much about these machines and dont know if we should resell it or if there is somthing were missing as far as adjusting it or whatever because it didnt come with a book.Any ideas?It would be greatly appreciated.

I have a sediment prefilter that I accidentally hooked up backwards (in where out should be, out where in should be). Did this kill the prefilter or can I just reverse the hook up and use It?
